AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 42 3(b) AND 42-4 OF THE. NIUNIC'IPAL
CODE OF "THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA AND ORDINANCE NO. 937, BY ZONING
LAND RECENTLY ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA.
Be It Ordained By The City of Ames, Iowa, as follows:
Section 1. That Sections 42-3(b) and 42-4 of the Municipal Code of
the City of Ames, Iowa and Ordinance No. 937, and the official zoning snap
therein referred to are hereby aniended to include land recently annexed to the
City of Ames, Iowa in "A" Districts (Residence), said land being described as
follows:

described as follows:

lying South of a line described as beginning at a point on the West
line of the SE-1/4, SE-1 /4, said Sec. 31, and in the center of
Cedar Street as shown on the plat of the Town of Ontario, Story
County, Iowa, thence East on the center line of said Cedar Street
to the center line of Elm Street as shown on the above plat, thence
North along the center lire of said Elm Street to the South line

beginning at a point on the West line of the SE-1 /4, SE-1 /4,

Section 7. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and publication as provided by law.
