TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the City Council of the City of
Ames, Iowa proposes that Sections 42-3(b) and 42-4 of the Municipal Code
of the City of Ames, Iowa and Ordinance No. 937, and the official zoning
map therein referred to be amended to zone the land recently annexed to the
city,as follows:
Section 1. That Sections 42-3(b) and 42-4 of the Municipal Code of
the City of Ames, Iowa and Ordinance No. 937, and the official zoning snap
therein referred to are hereby amended to include land recently annexed to the
City of Ames, Iowa in "A" Districts (Residence), said land being described as
follows:

Cedar Street as shown on the plat of the Town of Ontario, Story

to the center line of Elm Street as shown on the above plat, thence
North along the center line of said Elm Street to the South line

ing such change is now on file in the office of the City Clerk, Ames, Iowa, and
a hearing on the adoption of the ordinance will be held before the City Council
in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 8:00 o'clock P. M. on the 2nd day
of April, 1963. Any interested parties are invited to appear for or against this
proposed ordinance.
