AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 25 ON TRAFFIC OF THE MUNICIPAL
CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, BY REPEALING SUBSECTION (5) OF
SECTION 25-105. 17 THEREOF AND DESIGNATING STREETS WHERE PARK-
ING IS PROHIBITED.
Be It Ordained By The City Council of The City of Ames, Iowa, as follows:
Section 1. That Subscection (5) of Section 25-105. 17 of the Municipal
Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, be and the same is hereby repealed and the
following enacted in lieu thereof to be known as Section 25-105. 17(5) of the
Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa:
25-105. 17. Parking is hereby prohibited at all times,
except as may be otherwise provided in the subparagraphs
following on the streets of the City of Ames, Iowa, as follows:
(5) Brookridge Avenue on the West side from Sixth
Street to Ninth Street and on the East side thereof
from the North line of Sixth Street north a distance
of forty (40) feet, and on the East side thereof
beginning at a point 21 feet North of the Southwest
corner of Outlot A., Oak Park Addition, thence North-
easterly on an 89. 2 foot radius curve a distance of
125 feet.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the
provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and publication as provided by law.

passage of ordinances be suspended, the second and third readings
be omitted and Ordinance No. 1059 be passed on its final reading.

Mayor DeHart declared Ordinance No. 1059 duly adopted.
I, M. W. Jordan, City Clerk of the City of Ames, Iowa, do hereby
certify that the above and foregoing Ordinance No. 1059 was duly
and properly adopted by the City Council, City of Ames, Iowa, at
its meeting on the 19th day of February, 1963, and published in
the Ames Daily Tribune on the 25th day of February, 1963.
