HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Amending Chapter 52 of Municipal Code (Plumbing) ORDINANCE NO. 1058 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 52 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES,IOWA ON PLUMBING; BY REPEALING SECTION 52-61 THEREOF; AND PROVIDING FOR MATERIALS FOR WATER SUPPLY PIPES AND TUBING USED IN PLUMBING. Be It Ordained By the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, as follows: Section 1. That Section 52-61 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, on plumbing, be and the same is hereby repealed and the follow- ing enacted in lieu thereof, to be known as Section 52-61 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa: 52-61 Materials. Materials for water supply pipes and tubing shall be brass, copper, lead or cast iron. Type K copper tubing may be used uaileta.nd above ground. Type L may be used above ground. Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions hereof are hereby repealed. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law. Passed this 26th day of February 1963. i M. W. Jor City Clerk Pearle P.
