HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Amending Certain Sections of Municipal Code and Ordinance 937 (Zoning) BOOK.......I.L. ?AGE-,.J E Inst # 701 Fee $ 5.50 ORDINANCE NO. 1026 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 42-3(b) and 42-4 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA AND ORDINANCE NO. 937, BY ZONING RECENTLY ANNEXED LAND AS "D" DISTRICT. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That Sections 42-3(b) and 42-4 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa and Ordinance No. 937, and the official zoning map therein referred to are hereby amended to include land recently annexed in "D" District (Business and Light Industry), said land being described as follows: Beginning at a point 672. 5 feet East of the Southwest corner of the Southeast Quarter (SE4) of Section 1, Township 83 North, Range 24 West of the 5th P. M., Story County, Iowa, thence East 168 feet, thence North 342 feet, thence West 168 feet, thence South 342 feet to the point of beginning, except the North 50 feet of the South 113 feet of the above said tract. Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Sectisn 3. This ordinance shall bein full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law. Passed this 15th day of May 1962. l J . Jor City Clerk .
