HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Amending Chapter 25 of Municipal Code (Parking) ORDINANCE 110. 1020 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 25 OF THE MU14ICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, AND ORDI14ANCE NO. 996 BY REPEALING SUB- SECTION (18) OF SECTIOQ 25. 105. 17 THEREOF: AND DESIGNATING STREETS WHERE: PARKING IS PROHIBITED. Be It Ordained By The City Council of The City of Ames, Iowa, as follows: Section 1. That subsection (18) of Section 25-105. 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa, and Ordinance No. 996 be and the same are hereby repealed, and the following enacted to be known as Sections 25-105. 17 (16) and 25-105. 17 (38)a, respectively, of the Municipal Code of the City of Ames, Iowa. 25-105. 17 Parking is hereby prohibited at all times, except as may be otherwise provided in the subpara- graphs following, on the streets of the City of Ames, Iowa, as follows: (18) Gray Avenue on the West side from Greeley Street to Sunset Drive, and on the West side thereof from the North line of Sunset Drive to the South line of Gable Lane. (38)a Pearson Avenue on the West side from the worth line of Greeley Street to the South line of Sunset Drive. Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in con- flict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law. Passed this 6th day of March , 1962. M W. Jord , City Clerk Pearle P.
