ORDINANCE NO. 1018
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTICIV S 42-3(b) AND 42-4 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 937 OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, BY REZONING RECENTLY
ANNEXED LAND AS "D" DISTRICT (BUSINESS AND LIGHT INDUSTRY)
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Sections 42-3(b) and 42-4 of Ordinance
No. 937 of the City of Ames, Iowa, and the official zoning map
therein referred to are hereby amended to include land recently
annexed in "D" District, (Business and Light Industry), said
land being described as follows:
The Southeast Quarter (SE4) of the Southwest Quarter (SW4)
of the Northeast Fractional Half (NE fr2) of Section 1,
Township 83 North, Range 24 West of the 5th P. M., Iowa,
and Lots 1, 2 and 3 in the Northeast Fractional Half (NE fr2)
of Section 1, Township 83 North, Range 24 West of the 5th
P. M., Iowa
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby
repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and publication as provided
by law.

ed on its first reading.

Ratterree
Voting Nay: None
Absent: None
Moved by Ratterree and seconded by Bledsoe the rules governing the
passage of ordinances be suspended, the second and third readings
be omitted and Ordinance No. 1018 be placed on its final passage.
Moved by Eschbach and seconded by Brouhard Ordinance No. 1018 do
now- pass.

Voting Nay: None
Absent: None
Mayor DeHart declared Ordinance No. 1018 duly adopted.
