HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Establishing Curb Grades on Certain Streets ORDINANCE NO. 1009 AN ORDINANCE CREATING AND ESTABLISHING CURB GRADES ON CERTAIN STREETS AND AVENUES IN THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA. Be It Ordained By The City Council of The City of Ames, Iowa, as follows: Section 1. That the curb grades on the following streets and avenues in the City of Ames, Iowa, be and they are hereby established at the elevation shown on the plats and profiles now on file in the office of the city clerk, which said plats and profiles are by this reference made a part of this ordinance. Kellogg Avenue - From a point 100 feet South of the South line of Twenty-Fifth Street to the West line of Luther Drive Thompson Drive - From the North line of Kellogg Avenue North 115 feet Luther Drive - From the South line of Kellogg Avenue to the West line of Jensen Avenue Jensen Avenue - From the South line of Twenty-Fifth Street to the South line of Luther Drive Twenty-Fifth Street - From the East line of Jensen Avenue to the West line of Kellogg Avenue Twenty-Sixth Street - From the East line of Jensen Avenue to the South line of Kellogg Avenue Ontario Street - From a point 282.8 feet West of the West line of Arizona Avenue and East therefrom to the intersection of Garfield Avenue Garfield Avenue - From the North line of Ontario Street, North 85 feet Alabama Lane - From the North line of Ontario Street, North 115 feet Alberta Avenue - From the North line of Ontario Street, North 443.9 feet �« Furman Drive - From the East line of Ferndale Avenue, East and South therefrom 679.5 feet Twentieth Street - From the end of Meadowlane Avenue, B West 360.75 feet �} Sixteenth Street - From the East line of the Chicago & 4^1 r Northwestern Railway right of way, East to the intersection of Bel-Air Drive Bel-Air Drive - From the North line of Sixteenth Street, North 110 Feet. Northwestern Avenue - From a point 120 feet South of Sixteenth Street, North 1074 feet Murray Drive - From the East line of Northwestern Avenue, East 110 feet South Fourth Street - From the West line of Maple Avenue to the East line of Oak Avenue South Fourth Street - From a point 180 feet East of the East line of Washington Avenue, thence East 150 feet Twenty-Fourth Street - From the East line of Burnett Avenue West to a point 215 feet East of Grand Avenue Ellis Street - From the West line of Hillcrewt Avenue, West 561.15 feet Eighteenth Street - From the East line of Clark Avenue to the West line of Burnett Avenue North Third Street - From the East line of Hazel Avenue to the West line of Maple Avenue Annear Street - In Grandview Subdivision Ross Road - In Grandview Subdivision Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances J_n conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 3.
