ORDINANCE NO. 1005
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 42-3(b) and 42-4 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 937 OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, BY REZONING RECENTLY
ANNEXED LAND AS "A" RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1, That Sections 42-3(b) and 42-4 of Ordinance
No. 937 of the City of Ames, Iowa, and the official zoning map
therein referred to are hereby amended to include land recently
annexed in "A" Residential District, said land being described
as follows:
Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, Sixth Addition, Country Club Heights
Subdivision, Ames, Iowa.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law.
Passed this 19th day of September , 1961.

passed on its first reading.

passage of ordinances be suspended, the second and third readings
be omitted and Ordinance No. 1005 be placed on its final passage.

Mayor DeHart declared Ordinance No. 1005 duly adopted.
I, M. W. Jordan, City Clerk of the City of Ames, Iowa, do hereby
certify that the above and foregoing Ordinance No. 1005 was duly
and properly passed at a meeting of the City Council on the 19th
day of September, 1961, and published in the Ames Daily Tribune
on the 27th day of September, 1961.
