HomeMy WebLinkAbout~Master - Changing the Name of Beech Avenue to Beach Avenue ORDINANCE NO, 1004 AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAME OF BEECH AVENUE TO BEACH AVENUE WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, to commemorate the name of Professor Spencer A. Beach; a� BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA,, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the name-of Beech Avenue in the City of Ames, Iowa, be and the same is hereby changed to Beach Avenue. Section 2. That all ordinarn es or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by law. Passed this 19th day of September , 1961.
