3 Relating to dogs and repealing ordinance J

+ Sec. 1. That ordinance No. 10 be and the [�f�
- -- same is hereby repealed and the following
sections enacted in lieu thereof.
See.2. That on and alter the 1st day of

i permitted to run at large or without the en
1 closure of their owner within the incorpoyat-
ed limits of this city,unless the owner thereof' `
shall have first obtained a license from the ------
city clerk for which license such owner shall
pay mto the city treasury the sum of one dol-
lar and fifty cents($1•50)if the dog be a male _.__ -_._____.---------------------- ------- -- ----
or aspayed female and the aum of three($3 00) '
dollars if the dog be an unspayed female, and
in either case such owner shall pay to the a
city clerk the sum of twenty-five (ffi.25) cents '. ------- -- -------- -- - -- - ----
as his fee for issuing such license.
Sec. 3. The city clerk shall record the
names of all persons procuriug licenses and
the number of the dog for which such license (.
was issued,in book to be kept by hini for
that purpose.
Sec.4. All licenses shall expire on the first _ __-- _..__----_-_.------------------ .-__.--- -.----
day of February following their issue and in
issuing the same no deduction shall be made
where portions of the year have elapsed.
Sec.5. It shall be the duty of the owner of

cured to keep thereon a collar on which has

-number of the dog as assigned to it by the b

He shall also provide such dog with a

Sec. 6. If at any time any dog licensed to ,
a run at large is reported vicious or dangerous 4
it shall be the duty of the city marshal to
notify the owner of the same to keep such
dog muzzled and after receiving such notice i
such owner must not permit such dog to run b
t at large or go beyond his enclosures without f
i the same be securely muzzled.

to forthwith kill any dog caught in the act of
maiming,worrying or killing any domestic j
animal or domestic fowl or running at any i

dog shall be deemed the owner thereof within
the meaning of this ordinance.

Sec. 11 When a dog is redeemed by the
owner the city marshal shall be allowed the
sum of one placing

u it is retained therein,which fee and expense,
shall be paid by the owner before the dog is
removed.
If the dog is not claimed and redeemed the
