HomeMy WebLinkAboutA001 - Abstract of Votes 1 STATE OF IOWA ABSTRACT OF VOTES Story County, Iowa We, the undersigned Members of the Board of Supervisors and ex-officio County Board of Canvassers for this County, do hereby certify the following to be a true and correct abstract of the votes cast in this County at the 2011 Story County City Election held on the 8th day of November, 2011, as shown by the tally lists returned from the several election precincts. Council Member Ward 2, City of Ames Story Jami Larson Received one thousand eight hundred fourteen (1814) votes Candidate Total One thousand eight hundred fourteen (1814) votes SCATTERING Fifty (50) votes TOTAL One thousand eight hundred sixty-four(1864) votes We therefore declare: Jami Larson duly elected for the office of Council Member Ward 2, City of Ames for the term of 4 years. Council Member At Large, City of Ames Story Matthew Goodman Received four thousand sixty-nine (4069) votes Candidate Total Four thousand sixty-nine (4069) votes SCATTERING One hundred sixty-eight (168) votes TOTAL Four thousand two hundred thirty-seven (4237) votes We therefore declare: Matthew Goodman duly elected for the office of Council Member At Large, City of Ames for the term of 4 years. Shall the City of Ames, in Story County, Iowa, enter into a loan agreement and issue bonds in an amount not exceeding $18,000,000 for the purpose of paying the cost, to that extent, of expanding, renovating and equipping the Ames Public Library? Story For the question, there were: Three thousand nine hundred sixty-three (3963) votes Against the question, there were: One thousand two hundred thirty-five (1235) votes TOTAL Five thousand one hundred ninety-eight (5198) votes We therefore declare the public measure "Shall the City of Ames, in Story County, Iowa, enter into a loan agreement and issue bonds in an amount not exceeding $18,000,000 for the purpose of paying the cost, to that extent, of expanding, renovating and equipping the Ames Public Library?" to be adopted.
