do hereby certify the following to be a true and correct abstract of the votes cast in this County at the 2011 Story County
City Election held on the 8th day of November, 2011, as shown by the tally lists returned from the several election
precincts.

Shall the Following Public Measure be Adopted?
Shall the City of Ames, in Story County, Iowa, enter into a loan agreement and issue bonds in an amount not
exceeding $18,000,000 for the purpose of paying the cost, to that extent, of expanding, renovating and
equipping the Ames Public Library?
Story
For the question, there were: Three thousand nine hundred sixty-three (3963) votes
Against the question, there were: One thousand two hundred thirty-five (1235) votes
TOTAL Five thousand one hundred ninety-eight (5198) votes
We therefore declare the public measure "Shall the City of Ames, in Story County, Iowa, enter into a loan
agreement and issue bonds in an amount not exceeding $18,000,000 for the purpose of paying the cost, to
that extent, of expanding, renovating and equipping the Ames Public Library?" to be adopted.
GRAND TOTAL Five thousand one hundred ninety-eight (5198) votes
