Subject Career Change
Good morning. I have accepted a new position with First American Bank
as President of the Des Moines bank. I will begin the new position
mid-year, however, intend to stay on City Council until we actually move
to Des Moines.
The local media will likely report on this today, referencing my pending
resignation from the Ames City Council. I wanted you to hear about it
first-hand before reading or hearing of the news.
It has been a pleasure serving on the council with you.
