The special election on term length could be called for the same date, April 5, as the date of the special
election on increasing the hotel tax. I don't know of any legal basis on which the City could compel any
other party to pay for the cost of these elections.

Who has to pay for that special election? If the signatures are of registered
voters could we also include the hotel/motel tax issue in the same election,
it would save us some money.
