Dear Mr. Friederich:
I have enclosed a copy of the billing from the Story County Auditor for the November 2, 1999,
Election for City Council and Hospital Board of Trustees' positions. This bill, totaling $12,942.53,
covers all aspects of the election from the publication of the sample ballot to paying the election
officials.
According to the Auditor's Office, there were a total of 16 decisions to be made from all ballot
rotations; five of those, or 31%, pertained to Hospital Board positions. Therefore, the amount due
from Mary Greeley Medical Center is $4,012.18.
I have requested that our Finance Department forward payment for the City's portion of this bill
directly to the Story County Auditor and request that the Medical Center do likewise.
