Please list every elected position and office holder in your city, including the hospital trustees. This allows me to verify resignations, appointments and the year the term ends. As soon as we receive your completed questionnaire, we will send the supplies you request. Enclosed is a city election schedule for your information. You may wish to note on your calendar that Chapter 376.4 of the Code of Iowa requires city clerk's offices to remain open until 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 16, 1999 to receive candidates' nomination papers.
