Dear John:
Bob Josten and I were just discussing the fact that the Supreme Court held against all
of us in the Hinders case. We're getting a copy of the opinion tomorrow when the
court is open, but thought we should touch base with you in the event there is any
thought you had or anything we should be doing.
As the bonds are already issued, and as we did disclose this matter, there is no
technical problem, but we would like to keep current with the practicalities of the
situation, the form of the proposition, and the feeling of the city from the standpoint
of our responsibility on the bond issue, as I am sure we will be getting some concerned
calls!
We're looking forward to seeing the opinion as it will be quite interesting to find
