In accordance with the Code of the State of Iowa, the following
eligible electors request a Special City Election for the City of
Ames, Iowa to fill the City Council Vacancy for the First Ward which
will exist in August — 1980. These eligible electors also request
that this Special Election be scheduled concurrently with the General
