RE: Customer at 227 E 6ch Street moving electric line
Dear Mr. Oneel:
Your neighbor to the east at 227 E 6`h Street is remodeling her electric service to the house.
Currently this line cuts across your property at 223 E 66' Street at an angle. The City of Ames
Electric Services proposes to install a pole in the northwest corner of your neighbor's property
at 227 E 6`h St. This would allow for the overhead line to be located towards the back of your
property instead of cutting through at an angle. This would require an easement along the
northern 5 feet of your property. This easement allows City of Ames Electric crews to maintain
this line.
If this is acceptable,please sign the enclosed easement in the presence of a Notary;this can be
done free of charge at the City Clerk's office or the Legal Department located at City Hall.
