EASEMENT FOR ELECTRIC UTILITIES
KNOW ALL PERSONS BY THESE PRESENTS:
That Theisen Development Company,LLC,(hereinafter called"Grantor"),their successors and assigns,
for good and valuable consideration,receipt of which is hereby acknowledged,does hereby grant unto the CITY
OF AMES, IOWA, a municipal corporation (hereinafter called "Grantee"), its successors and assigns, the
perpetual right to enter upon the land hereinafter described and the perpetual right to construct, reconstruct,
maintain, repair, and use, such public utility lines and other equipment for the purpose of providing public
utilities,underground,over,or across the land described as:
A 10.00' wide electric easement across Lot 1 in East Hickory Park Subdivision,Ames,Story
County,Iowa,centered along a line more particularly described as commencing at the southwest
corner of said lot,thence south 89°48'46"east a distance of 194.44'to the point of beginning,
thence north 0°00'00"west a distance of 233.54',
containing 2,335.42 square feet.
all as shown on the plat attached and made a part hereof.
Grantor(s)shall not cause or permit any trees,shrubs,or above ground structures to be located-within the
above described land.
Grantee(s)shall assume liability for all damage to the real estate described herein to the extent that such
damage is caused by failure of the Grantee to use due care in the exercise of the rights granted by this easement.
