Is time of the essence? I could send it over to the Recorder after"x-ing"out Joyce's name and see what
happens. However, there is a chance that they would send it back to me. Unfortunately, I can't really get
a handle on the Recorder's rules; sometimes they accept things with minor discrepancies and sometimes
they don't.
I'm certainly willing to give it a try with the document that I have.
Please let me know what you want me to do. Thanks!

Diane:
Looks like we just need Brad's signature--what is needed to clean this up--should Dick have him re-sign a
new extension without her name, or would we be OK ammending this form to delete/block out here
name?

I just reviewed the Moeckly file and found that just he is on the title. I secured her name
on the original easement because sometimes, not always, dower rights come in to play on
property ownership.
We leased his property for storage and paid for it with just his signature, and apparently he
didn't want to have his wife sign this, or perhaps didn't think it was necessary.
When you quote Legal, be aware that is for the transfer of ownership or an interest in the
ownership. To think it would extend to an extension of time to exercise our option, which
she has signed, is similar to seeing bears behind the trees. I believe just his signature to be
legal and enforceable.
At the risk of insulting him, I will swing by and get her signature also if you like. Let me
know.
