SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT
FOR AND IN CONSIDERATION of the sum of One Dollar($1.00) and other valuable
consideration,the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged,the Grantors,FLOYD
W. CHRISTOFFERSON AND ANNA W CHRISTOFFERSON,do hereby grant and convey to the
Grantee, THE CITY OF AMES, IOWA, a perpetual easement and right-of-way in, over, upon,
through, and under the following described premises:
A 30 foot wide sanitary sewer easement across Parcel"L"in the NW 1/4 of the NE 1/4
of Sec. 21,R 83 N, T 24 W of the 5th P.M. across the parcel of land north of Parcel
"L"in the SW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Sec. 16,R83 N, T 24 W of the 5i1'P.M., and across
Parcel "E" in the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Sec. 16, R 83 N, T 24 W of the 5n' P.M.
centered along a line more particularly described as commencing at the northwest
corner of Parcel "L"thence southerly a distance of 165.88' along the west property
line of said Parcel "L" to the point of beginning, thence south 86' 19' 42" east a
distance of 215.95',thence north 01'37' 11"west a distance of 416.12',thence south
88' 44' 38" east a distance of 201.93', thence north 66' 25' 04" east a distance of
107.56', ending at a point along the east property line of said Parcel"E".
as shown on the attached Plat of Sanitary Sewer Easement, only for the purpose of constructing,
repairing, maintaining and operating a sanitary sewer in, over, upon, through and under the above
described premises. For the purposes aforesaid, the Grantee, its officers, employees, agents,
licensees,successors,and assigns shall at all times have the right and privilege of access to the above
described premises.
The foregoing rights are granted upon the express condition that the users of the granted
rights will assume liability for all damage to the real estate described herein and any adjacent real
estate caused by failure to use due care in the exercise of the granted rights.
This grant of easement and right of way shall be binding upon the heirs, successors, and
assigns of the Grantors.DATED this 3 4day of 2005.

office of the Story County Recorder,is hereby subordinated to the foregoing described easement for
a sanitary sewer extension, in favor of the City of Ames, Iowa.
