Re: Easement at 303 Lincoln Way
Dear Mr. Will:
Enclosed pleased find easement documents that the City of Ames has proposed
regarding the property you lease at 303 Lincoln Way. The City of Ames is asking
you to provide us with this easement in order to allow for the construction of a new
traffic signal at the intersection of Kellogg Avenue and Lincoln Way.
This easement will allow the City of Ames to install a traffic signal pole and
associated underground conduits on a portion of the property you lease. All costs
incurred during the period of the easement to operate, maintain, and construct the
traffic signal pole (including street light) will be the sole cost of the City of Ames. If
you are in agreement with the easement, please sign the enclosed document, have
your signature notarized, and return the originals to us. Once this document is
executed, please contact the City of Ames regarding any future modifications to the
property covered by this easement.
If you have any questions regarding the easement or legal documentation provided,

right, title, and interest as lessee and tenant in and to the land shown and described on the acquisition
plat attached hereto as Exhibit A in favor of an electric utility and traffic control apparatus easement to
the City of Ames, Iowa.
