PARKING ACCESS EASEMENT
BE IT KNOWN that Judith Dorr and David LaCombe, Wife and Husband,
as Grantors, hereby grant and convey to the City of Ames the right to
prevent the extinguishment of the easement created by the Agreement
recorded June 2, 1922 in Book 34, Page 176 of the Story County Records
which easement is described as follows:
The North 5 feet of the South 50 feet of Lot 2, Block 17, College
Park Addition First North to Ames, Iowa and the South 5 feet of
the North 10 feet of Lot 2, Block 17, College Park Addition First
North to Ames, Iowa
Said easement shall run with the land and shall not be cancelled without the
consent of the City of Ames The purpose of this easement is to provide
access to the garage or parking spaces in the rear of the Grantors' real
estate described as:
The South 50 feet of Lot 2 Block 17 College Park Addition First
North to Ames, Iowa, locally known as 721 Northwestern, Ames, Iowa
Grantors further agree that neither they nor their successors or
assigns shall amend or cancel the easement nor consent to any other party to
the easement cancelling or amending it without the written consent of the City
of Ames.
It is expressly understood and agreed that the City of Ames has no
obligation of maintenance or care with respect to said easement or the
premises to which it pertains.
This covenant shall be released by resolution of the Ames City Council
if alternative arrangements for parking spaces are made that are acceptable to
the City of Ames, or if the said parking spaces are no longer required under
the ordinances of the City of Ames for the use of a building at 721
Northwestern, Ames, Iowa.

On this 22nd day of May 1990, before me, the
undersigned, a Notary Public in and for the above named State, personally
appeared Larry R. Curtis and Nancy Dionigi, to me personally known, who,
being by me duly sworn, did say that they are the Mayor and City
Clerk respectively of the City of Ames, Iowa executing the foregoing
instrument; that the seal affixed thereto is the corporate seal of the
corporation; that the instrument was signed and sealed on behalf of the
corporation by authority of its City Council, as contained in Resolution
No. 90-172 adopted by the City Council, on the 22nd day of May
1990; and that the said Larry R. Curtis and Nancy Dionigi acknowledged the
execution of this instrument to be the voluntary act and def(110 sae
