LIGHT POLE EASEMENT
The grantor, Parkway Townhomes Association, for and in consideration of$1 and the following
covenants,hereby grants the following perpetual easement to the City of Ames, Iowa.
For ingress and egress,and for the installation,maintenance and operation of a city light pole on,
over and under the following described property:
Commencing at the SE corner of Plat 2 of Blue Ridge Addition, Ames, Story County,
Iowa, thence northerly a distance of 177' along the west line of Mortensen Parkway to
the point of beginning, thence westerly a distance of 4', thence northerly a distance of 4',
thence easterly a distance of 4'to the west line of Mortensen Parkway, thence southerly a
distance of 4'along said west line of Mortensen Parkway to the point of beginning,
as shown on the attached plat.
The easement is granted upon the following conditions:
The fixtures, facilities, lines and poles placed upon or attached to the above premises, if any, by
the grantee shall remain the property of the grantee. The grantee shall have the right at its sole cost
during the period of the easement, to operate,maintain and reconstruct the same.
In the event that the surface of the area of the easement is disturbed in the course of the
construction, renewal, maintenance or operation by the grantee, the grantee shall restore the surface of
the premises.
In witness whereof, the grantor has caused the execution of this document on the *7 day of
