LIGHT POLE EASEMENT
The grantors, Erben Hunziker and Margaret Hunziker, for and in consideration of$1 and
the following covenants, hereby grants the following perpetual easement to the City of Ames,
Iowa.
For ingress and egress, and for the installation, maintenance and operation of a city light
pole on, over and under the following described property:
Commencing at the NW corner of Lot 2 of Gateway Hills Addition Plat A,Ames,
Story County, Iowa, thence southeasterly a distance of 65' along the south line of
Mortensen Parkway to the point of beginning, thence southerly a distance of 4',
thence easterly a distance of 4, thence northerly a distance of 4' to the south line
of Mortensen Parkway, thence northwesterly a distance of 4' along said south line
of Mortensen Parkway to the point of beginning, and
Commencing at the NE corner of Lot 2 of Gateway Hills Addition Plat A, Ames,
Story County, Iowa, thence northwesterly a distance of 275' along the south line
of Mortensen Parkway to the point of beginning, thence southwesterly a distance
of 4', thence northwesterly a distance of 4', thence northeasterly a distance of 4' to
the south line of Mortensen Parkway, thence southeasterly 4' to the point of
beginning,
as shown on the attached plat.
The easement is granted upon the following conditions:
The fixtures, facilities, lines and poles placed upon or attached to the above premises, if
any, by the grantee shall remain the property of the grantee. The grantee shall have the right at
its sole cost during the period of the easement, to operate, maintain and reconstruct the same.
In the event that the surface of the area of the easement is disturbed in the course of the
construction, renewal, maintenance or operation by the grantee, the grantee shall restore the
surface of the premises.
