LIGHT POLE EASEMENT
The grantor, Blueridge Homeowners Assn., for and in consideration of $1 and the
following covenants, hereby grants the following perpetual easement to the City of Ames, Iowa.
For ingress and egress, and for the installation, maintenance and operation of a city light
pole on, over and under the following described property:
Commencing at the NE corner Plat 1 of Blueridge Addition, Ames, Story County,
Iowa, thence southerly a distance of 88' along the west line of Mortensen Parkway
to the point of beginning, thence westerly a distance of 4', thence southerly a
distance of 4', thence easterly a distance of 4' to the west line of Mortensen
Parkway, thence northerly a distance of 4' along said west line of Mortensen
Parkway to the point of beginning,
as shown on the attached plat.
The easement is granted upon the following conditions:
The fixtures, facilities, lines and poles placed upon or attached to the above premises, if
any, by the grantee shall remain the property of the grantee. The grantee shall have the right at
its sole cost during the period of the easement, to operate, maintain and reconstruct the same.
In the event that the surface of the area of the easement is disturbed in the course of the
construction, renewal, maintenance or operation by the grantee, the grantee shall restore the
surface of the premises.
