PERMANENT TRAFFIC SIGNAL EASEMENT
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That(Uwe),M. Patricia Banitt and Louis W. Banitt,as Trustees of the M. Patricia Banitt Revocable Trust,dated Julv
26. 1995 (do/does)hereby grant unto the City of Ames, Iowa, a municipal corporation its successors and assigns,the
perpetual right to enter upon the land described and the perpetual right to construct, reconstruct,repair,maintain,and
use a traffic signal,including all associated improvements thereof,upon,under,and across the land described as follows:
AS SHOWN ON THE ATTACHED PLAT MADE A PART HEREOF
The City shall bear the entire cost of designing and constructing the traffic signal and associated improvements. The City
shall pay the grantor(s)$300.00 for use of this easement.
The foregoing rights are granted upon the express condition that the City of Ames,Iowa,will assume all liability for all
damages to the above described property caused by the City's failure to use due care in its exercise of the rights granted.
