RESOLUTIONT RELEASING PORTION OF SANITARY AND STORM SEWER EASEMENTS
AND AUTHQRIZING EXECUTION OF A QUIT CLAIM DEED THEREFOR:
WHEREAS, Robert W. Johnson and Irene Johnson, husband and
wife, on the 17th day of June, 1969, granted unto the City of
Ames, Iowa, the perpetual right to enter upon certain land
described and the perpetual right to construct, reconstruct,
clean up, operate, maintain, and rover over and repair a stores
newer upon,under and across said lands and
WHEREAS, -it -is found and determined by the City Council of
the City Council of the City of Ames, Iowa, that a portion of
amid easement is no longer necessary or needed; �
NOW, THLREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Ares, Iowa, as follows:
Section 1. That a portion of. Right-of- Tay Permit and
Las.-rent dated by the Grantees herein on June 17, 1969, and
recorded by -the Grantor herein on November 4, 1969, in Sooklll, �
-Page 2820 Records of the Story County, Iowa, Recorder, be
released an follows:
= Five .feet either side of a line described as beginning at
the center- of the cul-da-sac North of Lot Eight (8) ,
thence Southeasterly 215 feet to a point 115 feet South
and 84 feet West of the Hortheast corner of Lot Eight (8) ,
thence Southeasterly 200 feet to a point 42 feet South and
61 feet [Nest of the Northeast corner of Lot Twelve (12) ,
t,, auca Southwas'te' rly 110 feet to a point 215 fact South
if and 00 feet West of the Northeast corner of Lot Twelve
except that portion within the cul-de-sac., Rim Road
Knolls Subdivioion of Ames, Iowa.
Sanction 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk be and they are
hereby authorized and directed to execute in behalf of the City
of Ames, Iowa, a Quit Claim Deed to Robert W. Johnson and Irene
`ohnvcn, hunb nd and wife, releasing the easement over, under,
and acrcans -the above described property.
