RIGHT-OF-WAY PERMIT AND EASEMENT
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That (I/ ) , Paul Pong Wha Shao (do/ ) hereby grant unto the City of
Ames, Iowa, a municipal corporation, its successors and assigns, the
perpetual right to enter upon the land described and the perpetual right to
construct, reconstruct, clean up, operate, maintain, and cover over and
repair a storm sewer upon, under and across the land described as follows:
Description:
A permanent easement 20 feet in width centered on a line more particularly
described as follows:
Commencing at the northwest corner of Lot 14, Block 3, Parkview
Addition; thence east 49.0 feet to the point of beginning; thence south
540 30' 00" east, 38.0 feet; thence north 850 15' 00" east, 68.0 feet;

thence south 21 30' 00" east, 69.0 feet to the east line of said Lot
14.
and
Commencing at the northwest corner of Lot 14, Block 3, Parkview
Additionb thence east 159.0 feet to the point of beginning; thence
south 31 30' 00" west, 37.0 feet.
Also, a temporary construction easement not included in the permanent
easement described above and northeast of a line more particularly described
as follows:
Commencing at the northwest corner of Lot 14, Block 3, Parkview
Addition; thence east 18.0 feet to the point of beginning; thence south
540 30' 00" east, 120.0 feet; thence south 360 45' 00" east, 95.0 feet
to the south line of said Lot 14.
See attached plat marked Exhibit A and made a part hereof.
The foregoing rights are granted upon the express condition that the City of
Ames, Iowa, will assume all liability for all damages to the above described
property caused by the City's failure to use due care in its exercise of the

as follows:
Commencing at the northwest corner of Lot 14, Block 3, Parkview Addition; thence
li east 49.0 feet to the point of beginning; thence south 540 30' 00" east, 38.0
feet; thence north 850 15' 00" east, 68.0 feet; thence south 210 30' 00" east,
69.0 feet to the east line of said Lot 14.
and
Commencing at the northwest corner of Lot 14, Block 3, Parkview Addition; thence
east 159.0 feet to the point of beginning; thence south 310 30' 00" west, 37.0
feet.
Also, a temporary construction easement not included in the permanent easement
described above and northeastof a line more particularly described as follows:
