.i RIGHT OF WAY PERMIT AND EASEMENT a
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That (I/we), Paul Pong Wha Shao and Mary Ann Shao (do/does) hereby grant
unto the City of Ames, Iowa, a municipal corporation its successors and
assigns, the perpetual right to enter upon the land described and the perpetual
right to construct, reconstruct, clean up, operate, maintain, and cover over
and repair a storm sewer easement upon, under, and across the land described
as follows:
DESCRIPTION:
A permanent easement 15 feet in width - 10 feet on the north and 5 feet on the
south of the following described line:
Commencing at the northwest corner of Lot 14, Block 3, Parkview Addition;
thence east 49.0 feet to the point of beginning; thence south 541 30' 00" east,
38.0 feet; thence north 851 15' 00" east, 68.0 feet; thence south 211 30' 00"
east, 69.0 feet to the east line of said Lot 14. 1
and; A permanent easement 20 feet in width centered on a line described as
follows:
Commencing at the northwest corner of Lot 14, Block 3, Parkview Addition;
thence east 159.0 feet to the point of beginning; thence south 311 30' 00" west,
37.0 feet.
See attached plat marked and made a part hereof. `` o
The foregoing rights are granted upon the express condition that the City of d
Ames, Iowa, will assume all liability for all damages to the above described
property caused by the City's failure to use due care in its exercise of the
rights granted.
