KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That (1/we), Max L. & Monica G. Porter (do/does) hereby grant unto the City of Ames, Iowa, a
municipal corporation its successors and assigns, including any public utility designated by the
City, the perpetual right to enter upon the land described and the perpetual right to construct,
reconstruct, repair, maintain, and use underground electrical lines, telephone lines, wires, cables,
and other equipment on any part thereof for the purposes of conveying electrical current for power
and lighting purposes, and for communicative transmissions, on the land described as follows:
DESCRIPTION:
The west 5' of south 50' of the north 60' of Sublot 18 Otis, Illsley & Parson's Subdivision, Ames,
Story County, Iowa. Containing 250 square feet.
See attached plat marked and made a part hereof.
The foregoing rights are granted upon the express condition that the City of Ames, Iowa, will
assume all liability for all damages to the above described property caused by the City's failure
to use due care in its exercise of the rights granted.
