Cook, a single person, am the owner of certain real estate located in Story County, Iowa, and described as: Lot 17 in Block 2, West Ames Addition to Ashes, Iowa. In consideration for the release of that certain easement for construct- ing, reconstructing, operating and maintaining a sanitary sewer and water main dated June 13, 1946, and filed in the Office of the Recorder of Story County, Iowa, on August 1, 1946, and recorded in Book 63 at Page 556, I hereby agree for myself, my heirs, administrators and assigns, to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the City of Ames and its respective servants, agents, officers and officials from all claims, demands, actions and causes of action of any sort for any injury or damages of any kind arising from the existence of said ease- ment or any sanitary sewer or water main upon said easement.
