RIGHT OF WAY PERMIT AND EASEMENT
KNOW THAT ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That (I/we), Ruth L. Stewart (do/does) hereby grant unto the City of Ames, Iowa, a municipal
corporation its successors and assigns, the perpetual right to enter upon the land described and
the perpetual right to construct, reconstruct, clean up, operate, maintain, and cover over and
repair a utility easement for traffic light purposes, upon, under, and across the land described
as follows:
DESCRIPTION:
Beginning at a point 45 feet west and 40 feet south of the Northeast Fractional Quarter of
Section 1, T83N, R24W of the 5th P.M., Story County, Iowa. Thence south 35 feet; thence
west 25 feet; thence north 35 feet; thence east 25 feet to the point of beginning, containing 875
square feet.
See attached plat marked and made a part hereof.
The forgoing rights are granted upon the express condition that the City of Ames, Iowa, will
assume all liability for all damages to the above described property caused by the City's failure
to use due care in its exercise of the rights granted.
