RIGHT OF WAY PERMIT AND EASEMENT
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That (1/we), University Retirement Corporation (do/does) hereby grant unto the City of
Ames, Iowa, a municipal corporation its successors and assigns, the perpetual right to
enter upon the land described and the perpetual right to construct, reconstruct, clean up,
operate, maintain, and cover over and repair a storm sewer easement upon, under, and
across the land described as follows:
DESCRIPTION:
A 10.0 foot wide strip of land across Lot 6 in Gateway-Greenh ills Subdivision, Ames, Iowa;
being situated 5.0 feet on each side of a centerline described as follows: Beginning on the
southerly line of said Lot 6, N72004'58"W, 61.09 feet from the southeast corner of said Lot
6; thence N43010'12"W, 65.77 feet; thence N47006'15"W, 25.65 feet; thence
N00059'21"E, 66.39 feet; thence N21°53'14"E, 59.51 feet to the northwesterly line of said
Lot 6 and there terminating, containing 0.05 acres.
See attached plat made a part hereof.
The foregoing rights are granted upon the express condition that the City of Ames, Iowa,
will assume all liability for all damages to the above described property caused by the City's
failure to use due care in its exercise of the rights granted. If the city disturbs the
property, it will replace it to substantially the same condition as before the
