KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That (1/we), University Retirement Corporation and Greenhills Residents Association
(do/does) hereby grant unto the City of Ames, Iowa, a municipal corporation its
successors and assigns, the perpetual right to enter upon the land described and the
perpetual right to construct, reconstruct, clean up, operate, maintain, and cover over and
repair a storm sewer easement upon, under, and across the land described as follows:

Description - Storm Sewer Easement.
A 10.0 foot wide strip of land across Lot 1 in Gateway-GreenH ills Subdivision, Second
Addition to Ames, Iowa, being situated 5.0 feet on each side of a centerline described as
follows:
Commencing at the northeasterly corner of said Lot 1, also being the northwesterly corner
of Lot 6 in Gateway-Green Hills Subdivision, Ames, Iowa; thence along the line common
to said Lots 1 and 6, S17055'00"W, 128.92 feet and thence S62055'02"W, 82.91 feet to
the point of beginning; thence N21 °52'14"E, 155.73 feet; thence N50030'19"W, 123.18
feet and there terminating, containing 0.06 acres.
See attached plat made a part hereof.
The foregoing rights are o-anted upon the express condition that the City of Ames, Iowa,
will assume all liability for all damages to the above described property caused by the
City's failure to use due care in its exercise of the rights granted. If the city disturbs the
property, it will replace it to substantially the same condition as before the
