4 \\' RIGHT OF WAY PERMIT AND EASEMENT

That Joseph-,,A., Geha , in
consideration of sum -of one dollar, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged,
do hereby grant to the City of Ames, Iowa, a Municipal corporation, its
successors and assigns, the perpetual right to construct, reconstruct, repair,
maintain, and use 4ts overhead and underground electric lines, poles, anchors,
wires, cables, and other similar equipment or any part thereof together with a
right to trim trees for safe operation of overhead electric lines for the the
sole purpose of conveying electric current for power and lighting purposes,
overhead or underground of the real estate described as follows:
The East 10 Feet of Lot 4, Block 1 Ashlin Subdivision to Ames, Story
County, Iowa.
The foregoing rights are granted upon the express condition that the City
of Ames will assume liability for all damage to the hereinbefore described
property caused by said City's failure to use due care in its exercise of the
.- granted right.
