I was wondering if you would happen to have any information showing that the attached easement was recorded with the county. ISU is requesting this. Damion was able to find the easement in FMS. It is Instrument#8642656. Thanks! Mark Gansen, P.E. I am good with what you propose. On the exhibit please include the current center lines Beach and Lincolnway along with the section/township/range information as you propose. I am confident that we can create an acceptable exhibit. Thanks Randy Randolph K. Larabee, P.E. We've found the attached Deed for transfer of the corridor from the DOT to the City; however, we are unable to find any records indicating Iowa State University's current ownership of portions of the corridor. We're not certain if that's due to a lack of recorded documents, or if transfers never occurred. Given this information, we would like to move forward with an exhibit that provides descriptions of the area needed for the signal easement in general relation to the Section Corner/ Lines. We would want this exhibit to show the easement area in relation to both the University's and the City's understanding of the property ownership in the area. Essentially, easements would be written to this affect (for the NE corner): the easement area is that portion of Iowa State University's property within the south 40' of the west 60' of Section 3... We will prepare draft exhibits and send over for comment. Thanks! Mark Gansen, P.E.
