That (I/we), - Collegiate Mfg. Co.
(do/does) hereby grant unto the City of Ames, Iowa, a municipal corporation, its
successors and assigns, the perpetual right to enter upon the land described and
the perpetual right to construct, reconstruct, clean up, operate, maintain, and
cover over and repair a water main upon, under and across
the land described as follows:
DESCRIPTION: A permanent easement 15' in width more particularly described as
follows: Beginning at the intersection of the North property line with the east line of
Borne Avenue and running thence East along said North property line a distance of 344.75' ,
thence Southeast along the Northeast property line 244.1' , thence South 10' West of and
parallel to the East property line a distance of 118' , thence East 10' , thence South 15' ,
thence West 25' , thence North, Northwest and West 15' distant from and parallel to above
described line to the East line of Borne Avenue, thence North 15' to the point of beginning;
all located in the SEA SEA Sec. 2,-T83N-R24W in the City of Ames, Story County, Iowa, and
containing 0.25 acres.
Also a temporary construction easement 20' in width parallel to and running south and west
of above described permanent easement except point of beginning is 95' East of the East
line of Borne Avenue. All located in the City of Ames, Story County, Iowa, and containing
0.28 acres.
See attached plat marked and made a part hereof.
The foregoing rights are granted upon the express condition that the City
of Ames, Iowa, will assume all liability for all damages to the above described
property caused by the City's failure to use due care in its exercise of the
rights granted.

The following conditions will be honored by the City of Ames as part
as port of the attached Right-of-Way Permit and Easement Agreement:
/. The intake behind the building, if disturbed by construction
operations, will be repaired.
2. Access to parking areas will be mointoined.
3. Any damage to the building resulting from construction operations
will be repaired.
4. Area torn up due to construction will be resodded after completion
of the project in appropriate growing weather.
