That (I/we), Iowa Electric Light & Power Company
(do/does) hereby grant unto the Cily of Aiies, Iowa, a municipal corporation, its
successors and assigns, the perpetual right to enter upon the land described and
the perpetual right to construct, reconstruct, clean up, operate, maintain, and
cover over and repair a Water main upon, under and across
the land described as follows:
DESCRIPTION:
A permanent easement 15' in width centered on a line more particulary- described as
follows;
Beginning at a point 18.2' East and 258' North of the N.W. corner of lot 1,
Friedrich's Commercial add. and running thence South450-00' East 42.43' , thence
South 670-30' East 78.40' , thence South 900-00' East 132.60' .
Also a temporary construction easement 20' in width running parallel to and
abutting above described permanent easement on the South.
Note; The West property line assumed to bear due North-South for this description.
All located in the City of Ames, Story County, Iowa and containing 0.09 and 0.12
acres respectively.
See attached plat marked and made a part hereof.
The foregoing rights are granted upon the express condition that the City
of Ames, Iowa, will assume all liability for all damages to the above described
property caused by the City's failure to use due care in its exercise of the
� rights granted.
