IOWA 50306 Mr. Richard Klatt Public Works Department City of Ames Ames, Iowa 50010 Re: North Grand Plaza Dear Mr. Klatt: On March 30th you sent Mr. James Kaas copies of the signal layout plan and an alignment plan for the intersection of Grand Avenue and 28th Street. These plans have been reviewed. The alignment plan has been found to be acceptable subject to modification of the dimensions of the entrance as shown on the enclosed detail. The revised dimensions noted are the maximum which we can establish and still leave a minimum median for planting. The easement area shown on the signal layout plan is acceptable. You may proceed to prepare the plat and description for our granting of the easement. The parties to the easement should be Grand Center, Inc. , the fee owners, and Martin Bucksbaum as Trustee for General Growth Properties, a Massachusetts voluntary association established under Declaration of Trust dated May 19, 1970, the ground lessee.
