RIGHT-OF-WAY PERMIT AND EASEMENT Fee : $2 ° 5o
Russell and Waneva M. Huffman, husband and wife, in consideration
of the sum of One Dollar and other good and valuable consideration, the re-
ceipt of which is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant unto the City of Ames
Iowa, a municipal corporation, its successors and assigns, the perpetual
right to enter upon the land described and the perpetual right to construct,
reconstruct, clean up, operate, maintain and cover over and repair a storm
sewer upon, under and across the land described as follows:
The East 5 ft. of Lot 4 in the SW1/4 NE1/4 Section 27
Township 84 North Range 24 West.
There is also hereby granted a right of ingress and egress over and
across adjacent land and a temporary right of encroachment over and across
adjacent land on either side of the above described line only during the period
of construction.
The foregoing rights are granted upon the express condition that the
City of Ames, Iowa, will assume all liability for all damages to the above
described property caused by the Cityes failure to use due care in its exer-
cise of the rights granted.
