RIGHT-OF-WAY PERMIT AND EASEMENT Fee: $2 . 50
Roland L. McCormack and Ann L. Munn McCormack, husband and
wife, in consideration of the sum of One Dollar and other good and valuable
consideration, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant
unto the City of Ames, Iowa, a municipal corporation, its successors and
assigns, the perpetual right to enter upon the land described and the per-
petual right to construct, reconstruct, clean up, operate, maintain and cove
and repair a storm sewer upon, under and across the land described as
follows:
5 feet on each side of a line described as beginning at a
point 10 feet more or less East of the Southwest corner
Lot 2 in the SEl/4 SW1/4 Section 5, Township 83 North,
Range 24 West of the 5th P. M. Story County, Iowa,
thence North 110 30' West 25 feet.
There is also hereby granted a temporary right of ingress and egress
over and across adjacent land and a temporary right of encroachment over
and across adjacent land on either side of the above described line only dur-
ing the period of construction.
The foregoing rights are granted upon the express condition that the
City of Ames, Iowa, will assume all liability for all damages to the above
described property caused by the City's failure to use due care in its ex-
ercise of the rights granted. p
