R9com EOi BOOK PAGE BOOK _ PAGE OAT[ EASEMENT COMPENSATION 1. $2.40 per lineal foot of pipe installed across the property for a total cost of $3,365.64 2. Crop loss for the next five years based on $130 per acre. Crop loss will be full payment for the first two years, one-half for the third year and one-fourth for the fourth and fifth years for a total of $1,875.90. 3. Excess excavated material will be placed to control runoff at points designated to control erosion. These areas include the north and west ends of the property in particular. 4. The top 2 feet of topsoil will be stripped, stockpiled, and respread over the disturbed area. 5. Fences shall be restored to a condition equal to or better than existed prior to construction. 6. Rocks larger than 3" in diameter shall be removed from the easement area. 7. Use of temporary construction easements will continue for a period not to exceed one year from the start of construction on the property. 8. Tiles or other pipelines will be re-established or rerouted. 9. No manholes or structures will be exposed in land used for tillable agricultural purposes. 10. Payment will be made upon acceptance by the City of Ames City Council and the easement will be effective upon payment of the above compensa- tion. 11. A future connection to the sewer will be allowed if all city, county, state, and federal regulations and policies would allow such a con- nection.
