Strand in consideration of the sum of One Dollar and other good and va `ua e consideration, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, (do/does) hereby grant unto the City of Ames, Iowa, a municipal corporation, its successors and assigns , the perpetual right to enter upon the land described and the perpetual right to construct, reconstruct, clean up, operate, maintain, and cover over and repair a storm sewer upon, under and across the lan escri e as follows : DESCRIPTION A permanent easement 10 feet in width (bounded on the north by an additional 10 foot temporary construction easement) centered on a line more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the NW corner of Lot 4, Harrison Subdivision, City of Ames; Story County, Iowa; then 130 feet South to the point of beginning; then East 98 feet more or less to the Lot line. See attached plat marked Exhibit A and made a part hereof. The foregoing rights are granted upon the express condition that the City of Ames, Iowa, will assume all liability for all damages to the above described property caused by the City' s failure to use due care in its exercise of the rights granted.
