(do/jdoos) hereby grant unto the City of Ames, Iowa, a municipal corporation, its
successors and assigns, the perpetual right to enter upon the land described and
the perpetual right to construct, reconstruct, clean up, operate, maintain, and
cover over and repair a storm sewer outlet structure upon, under and
across the land described as follows :
DESCRIPTION:
See attached permanent easement description and temporary construction easement
description.
See attached plat marked and made a part hereof.
The foregoing rights are granted upon the express condition that the City
of Ames, Iowa, will assume all liability for all damages to the above described
property caused by the City' s failure to use due care in its exercise of the
rights granted.

A permanent storm sewer easement more particularly described as follows:
"Commencing at the southwest corner of Lot 17, Teagarden Trust Subdivision,
City of Ames, Story County, Iowa; thence North 129.5 feet along the east
right of way of Emerald Drive to the point of beginning; thence east 16
feet, thence N 420 30' E for a distance of 7 feet; thence west 20 feet to
the east right of way line of Emerald Drive, thence south 5 feet along said
right of way to the point of ending, containing approximately 90 square
feet or .002 acre,
and
Commencing at the southwest corner of Lot 17, Teagarden Trust Subdivision,
City of Ames, Story County, Iowa; thence north 134.5 feet along the east
right of way line of Emerald Drive; thence east 30 feet; thence north 10
feet to the point of beginning; thence N 420 30' E for a distance of 40
feet; thence N 470 30' W for a distance of 37 feet; thence S 420 30' W for
a distance of 44 feet to the east right of way line of Emerald Drive;
thence east 30 feet; thence south 20 feet to the point of ending, contain-
ing approximately 1,250 sq. ft or 0.03 acres."
A temporary storm sewer construction easement more particularly described
as follows:
"Commencing at the southwest corner of Lot 17, Teagarden Trust Subdivision,
City of Ames, Story County, Iowa; thence north 114.5 feet along east right
of way of Emerald to the point of beginning; thence east 22 feet; thence N
420 30' E for a distance of 62 feet; thence north 45 feet; thence west 65
feet to the east right of way line of Emerald Drive; thence south 92 feet
to the point of ending, containing approximately .11 acre."
