RIGHT-OF-WAY PERMIT AND EASEMENT '� v'
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That (X/xxx) , we, The Forest Hills Homeowners Association
(do/dokk) hereby grant unto the City of Ames , Iowa, a municipal
corporation, its successors and assigns , the perpetual right to
enter upon the land described and the perpetual right to construct,
reconstruct, clean up , operate , maintain, and cover over and repair
a sanitary sewer upon, under and across the land
described as follows :
DESCRIPTION'
A permanent easement 15 feet in width (bounded on both sides by a 15 feet wide
temporary construction easement) centering on a line more particularly described
as follows:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of Outlot A, Forest Hills Subdivision, City
of Ames, Story County, Iowa; thence West 137 feet to the point of beginning;
thence North 70 00' 00" West for a distance of 138 feet; thence North 210 00' 00"
West for a distance of 62. 5' feet more or less to the north property line of
Outlot A. Containing approximately 0.07 acres.
See attached plat marked and made a part. hereof.
The foregoing rights are granted upon the express condition that
the City of Ames , Iowa, will assume all liability for all damages to
the above described property caused by the City' s failure to use due
care in its exercise of the rights granted.

EASEMENT COMPENSATION EXHIBIT
1. The City will pay the property owners $600.00 as compensation for the
easement and loss of 2 three inch trees.
2. The disturbed area shall be graded to drain and reseeded with prairie
grass after construction.
3. The construction limits shall be fenced with snow fence or equivalent.
4. Trees in the construction area shall be planked for protection.
