in consideration of the sum of One Dollar and other good and valuable
consideration, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, (do/gTgW)
hereby grant unto the City of Ames, Iowa, a municipal corporation,
its successors and assigns , the perpetual right to enter upon the
land described and the perpetual right to construct, reconstruct,
clean up, operate, maintain, and cover over and repair a sanitary
sewer upon, under and across the land described
as follows:
DESCRIPTION : A temporary construction easement 100 feet in width
and a permanent easement 20 feet in width over and across the North 12 acres
of the NW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Sec. 26-T84N-R24W centered on a line more
particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point 72.1 feet West of
the SE Corner of Lot 3 in the South 1/2 of the NW 1/4 of Sec. 26-T84N-R24W,
and running thence South 46011135" East 620 feet + to the South line of
said North 12 acres.
See attached plat marked Exhibit A and made a part hereof.
There is also hereby granted a right of ingress and egress over
and across adjacent land and a temporary right of encroachment over
and across adjacent land on either side of the above described line
only during the period of construction.
The foregoing rights are granted upon the express condition that
the City of Ames, Iowa, will assume all liability for all damages to
the above described property caused by the City' s failure to use due
care in its exercise of the rights granted.

SUPPLEMENTAL LETTER OF AGREEMENT
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That we, Leon and Murrell Joy, husband and wife, in con-
sideration of the sum of five hundred dollars ($500.00) , do
hereby grant unto the City of Ames, Iowa, a municipal corpora-
tion, its successors and assigns, the perpetual right to enter
upon the land described and the perpetual right to construct,
reconstruct, clean up, operate, maintain and cover over and
repair a sanitary sewer upon, under and across the land des-
. aribed as follows

egress to the sewer project over a temporary roadway on the
South portion �of the lot-at -3-504 Gran - under the condition
that the contractor maintain the temporary roadway in good
condition.
The foregoing rights are granted upon the express condition
that the City of Ames, Iowa, will assume all liability for all
damages to the above described property caused by the City' s
failure to use due care in its exercise of the rights granted.
