RIGHT-OF-WAY PERMIT AND EASEMENT
R. A. Dotson and Madelyn P. Dotson, husband and wife, in con-
sideration of the sum of One Dollar and other good and valuable considera-
tion, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant unto
the City of Ames, Iowa, a municipal corporation, its successors and
assigns, the perpetual right to enter upon the land described and the per-
petual right to construct, reconstruct, clean up, operate, maintain and
cover over and repair a sanitary sewer upon, under and across the land
described as follows:
5 ft. on each side of a line described as beginning at a
point 327, 03 ft. West and 33 ft, South of the NE corner
NW1/4 SEI/4 Section 27, Township 84 North, Range 24
West of the 5th P. M. Story County, Iowa, thence South
200 ft. . thence West 283. 26 ft. , thence South 50 ft.
There is also hereby granted a right of ingress and egress over
and across adjacent land and a temporary right of encroachment over and
across adjacent land on either side of the above described line only during
the period of construction.
The foregoing rights are granted upon the express condition that
the City of Ames, Iowa, will assume all liability for all damages to the
above described property caused by the City's failure to use due care in
its exercise of the rights granted.

their voluntary act and deed.
