UTILITY EASEMENT
By................. .....
WHEREAS by virtue of ordinance number 2137 enacted May
3 , 1966 , the City of Ames reserved an electric utility ease-
ment over the land of a vacated north-south alley between
North Dakota Avenue , Delaware Avenue, Hutchison Street and
Ontario Street in the old town of Ontario, Iowa; and, Fi
WHEREAS the owners of the land over which said easement
runs desire that the easement be moved approximately eleven
(11) feet west and reduced in width from 20 to 16 feet and
have tendered to the City a new written easement for that
purpose;
NOW THEREFORE , be it resolved, by the City Council for
the City of Ames, Iowa that a new electric utility easement
over land described as :
The East 7 feet of Lots 2, 3, and 6 , and
the west 9 feet of vacated alley adjacent
to lots 2, 3, and 6 , Block one, original
town of Ontario,
said written grant of easement being attached hereto and by
this reference incorporated herein and made a part hereof as
if fully set out be, and the same is hereby, approved and
accepted.
